After reading the reviews on the GelaSkins, I decided to go ahead and purchase one. The skin is very much like a decal and would provide limited protection if the Kindle were to be dropped. I mainly ordered the skin to protect the printing on the keys as I can see it wearing off very quickly otherwise.

it is nice, the oak tree. I was expecting a second skin for all of the kindle (as a protection) not just the back. I like the colors and the design, I just would have liked the protection for the whole thing.

I just received and applied my skin today. It looks absolutely gorgeous on was the perfect touch to my kindle. The coloring was just as I expected and I just love it. i wish it covered the sides, but I can live without that. Seems tough enough to protect against minor scratches, but mostly just decorative. I’m using it in my hardback amazon Kindle case for a little added flair.
